People of Ethiopia

The ethnic groups, Ethiopia constitutes a mosaic of more than 80 ethnic groups. Oromo is the most numerous (about 40%) followed by Amhara and Tigriens (32%). Other numerically important groups are Sidamo, Shankelle, Somali, Afar and Gurage.

Sport, Even if the football team of Ethiopia does not obtain very convincing results, football remains a popular sport in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian national football team won the 1962 African Cup of Nations Ethiopia is best known internationally for its middle-distance and long-distance runners.
